A fantastic opportunity for a personable and highly organised Office Manager with finance and/or bookkeeping skills to join a fabulous tech company based in London Bridge. The offices are lovely, managed offices close to the river and the company culture is friendly and sociable. Flexible working is also offered with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home + lovely benefits!

This is a multi-faceted role where the Office Manager will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, financial activities, and office procedures whilst offering support to the team of 38 and Company Directors to ensure the smooth running of the office. You will also work alongside the HR Manager and fulfil the following duties;

Office

  • Work with Serviced Office provider/landlord to resolve office issues, such as furniture requirements and IT/network issues etc.
  • Maintain a pleasant and orderly working environment and arrange for necessary repairs
  • Oversee the office layout including equipment
  • Organise and manage the company meeting rooms
  • Maintain supplies of stationery and equipment

Travel and Events

  • Arrange three annual company conferences
  • Arrange the company team building events
  • Negotiate rates with venues and hotels
  • Book travel and accommodation for consultants
  • Arrange bookings for external meetings
  • Liaise with training providers where necessary

Financial

  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable function
  • Bookkeeping
  • Manage the monthly employee expenses process
  • Weekly bank imports and reconciliation
  • Financial reporting

The rights candidates will be confident, approachable and real problem solvers! It is important that the Office Manager is organised, with excellent written and verbal communications skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Minimum B grade at GCSE Maths and English
  • Educated to at least A Level standard
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Bookkeeping / Accounting qualification is desirable

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-6pm.
