Personal Assistant Job Description
Close-knit, highly successful corporate advisory firm are seeking an outgoing, charming and charismatic Personal Assistant to support a couple of Partners and further members of the team. This is a busy role that offers growth opportunities and long term career progression. You will have a great senior Personal Assistant to learn from and project management, marketing and event management opportunities.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Benefits: discretionary bonus; 25 days holiday; pension and flexible working
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 – these are never really worked over
Location: central London + remote working one day a week
Start date: happy to wait a notice period, but ideally start date before Christmas
Summary of Position & Responsibilities
Personal Assistant – provide support to 2 Partners, a team of five below Partner level and some external senior advisers. This will include diary, email and contacts management, travel arrangements, expenses reporting, general administration, typing, presentation preparation, filing, CRM management, print production (binding and creating client-facing documents), etc…
Office management – office and facilities management including liaising with outside service providers and suppliers, (e.g. stationery, appliances, landlord, cleaners, etc…) The company are also at moving offices in 2022 as they are currently growing and require bigger premises. This will be the successful applicant’s responsibility.
Events – organising client entertainment events – drinks parties, lunches, dinners (bookings, caterers, invitations)
Marketing – administrative support for marketing initiatives, including mail outs
LLP administration – provision (in conjunction with team members) of support to managing partners on LLP administration functions on basis to be determined over time (to potentially include support in relation to compliance, HR, finance and marketing/communications)
Personal Assistant Specification
- Good GCSEs (especially Maths and English) and A levels are required
- A university degree is highly desirable
- 2-5 years professional experience with at least 18 months in an administrative support role
- Prior experience within a high-quality professional services firm is desirable
- Commitment to delivering work of the highest quality
- Strong client facing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- A highly organised team player with flexibility and initiative
- A desire to develop their role and experience within the company as it grows
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong time management and the ability to multitask
