A new exciting opportunity has become available for an Customer Completions Consultant for our client based in Chatham.

You will work as part of a successful team to achieve excellent standards of customer service whilst maintaining quality assessment of key underwriting and completions documents.

You will be:

• Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
• Ensuring all queries relating to Underwriting and Completions are dealt with promptly, efficiently and in accordance with various policies and procedures
• Assessing mortgage applications and post offer documents
• Handling escalation calls from mortgage intermediaries and Solicitors
• Reviewing Underwriting conditions
• Liaising with underwriters and legal on complex policy decisions
• Contributing to personal development, reviews and planning
• Keeping up to date with current best practice and regulatory requirements
• Complete general administration duties and ad hoc tasks or projects as required
• Instruct and interpret Valuation Reports
• Take telephone calls when required to support the team
• Maintaining the company's standards

The successful candidate will be/have:

• A team player with strong interpersonal skills, keen with enthusiasm and drive
• Experienced within financial services/banking
• Knowledge of the house buying process - desirable
• Basic knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Anti-Money Laundering, MCOBS, MMR and UK Finance Mortgage Lenders Handbook
• Experience using Microsoft Office Programs
• GCSE/GCE qualifications in Maths and English
• Excellent organisation skills
