Up to GBP24,375 per annum, depending on skills and experience

About the role:

They're embarking on an exciting time for HR with the recent launch of a new People & OD team and the introduction of a wide-ranging new people strategy.

They're looking for an HR Administrator to join their People & OD team. Reporting to the HR Manager - Talent, you'll be responsible for providing a variety of support functions to the Housing, Built Environment and Corporate areas of the business, including the administration of:

  • All aspects of the employee lifecycle;
  • Recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction;
  • Learning and development;
  • Reward and benefits;
  • Employee relations and absence management;
  • Budget monitoring and processing invoices.

You'll also provide first-line advice and guidance to managers on contracts, terms and conditions and policy/procedure; assist with the review and updating of policies and procedures and support the delivery of a range of projects and initiatives within the People & OD team.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you'll ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified, with demonstrable experience of employment law, recruitment, training and other HR disciplines.

Educated to A-level (or equivalent) in business management or similar, you'll need to demonstrate your excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with high-volume administration whilst maintaining superb attention to detail.

You'll be a bright self-starter who can juggle multiple demanding priorities with excellent digital literacy, including solid MS office and database skills.

You'll also be confident in working with a range of stakeholders at all levels; delivering brilliant customer care whilst upholding confidentiality at all times, demonstrating your ability to handle sensitive situations with tact, empathy and discretion.
