We have an amazing opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer of one of the world’s leading FinTech companies from their London HQ. This is a varied and dynamic role working in a fast-paced environment for a company that very much maintains a start-up ethos. Based in Shoreditch, you will be joining a warm, welcoming and supportive team who are all incredibly passionate about the brand and the journey they are on. A totally new role, the CEO is looking for a right-hand who can provide support across all areas of the business, managing all administration and organsiation, assisting with exciting projects, as well as supporting with some private matters.
You will be a proactive self-starter who is confident, resilient, impeccably organised and highly efficient in your work. Solution-focussed, you will overcome all hurdles in a calm and professional manner and ensure that the CEO’s business and personal life run smoothly at all times. First-class communications skills are essential for this role, you will be able to liaise at all levels and build rapport with the CEO and wider team. Meticulous attention to detail is absolutely essential for this role, as well as a mother-tongue level of English (both spoken and written).
A mix of remote working (Mondays and Friday) and based in the office in Shoreditch (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) usual working hours are from 9am-6pm, with flexibility required at times. The CEO travels occasionally so there may be a need in the future for the EA to accompany him on occasional trips.
Benefits include pension, breakfast and lunches are provided, and they also have an annual work trip abroad. This is a rapidly growing firm and therefore there is a lot of scope for this role to evolve and grow with the company.
Duties to include:
- Complex diary management, scheduling meetings and creating agendas
- Detailed inbox management - responding to emails on behalf of the CEO, tracking progress with items and ensuring all correspondence is managed effectively
- Travel booking - including flights, visas, accommodation and itineraries
- Preparation for meetings and minute taking
- Drafting reports and presentations
- Ad-hoc research projects
- Managing expenses and bank statements
- Involvement in a variety of ongoing projects
- Assist with arranging events, lunches, dinners, conferences and annual trips
- All administrative and organisational tasks for the CEO
- Assistance with private duties, such as household utilities and insurances
Essential criteria:
- Prior experience in a similar position as an Executive Assistant
- Experience in finance, tech, or fintech environments would be highly desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Highly organised, efficient and driven to excel
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Smart and analytical
- Hardworking, ambitious and eager to join a thriving company
- Top-notch communication skills and the ability to provide context when needed
- Confident, resilient and boundaried
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Able to prioritise effectively and manage conflicting priorities
- Tech and G-suite savvy
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Mother-tongue level of English – both written and spoken
