Supporting the Technical Manager, you will provide administrative and factory based support with the technical duties as they expand within a fast growing drinks manufacturing business.
You must be a self-motivated individual, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure at times with high attention to detail. You must be willing to learn and be eager to progress in a technical role having some experience in a similar position of meeting standards.
You will need to be flexible around audit times during preparation to cover the required workload.
Candidate Responsibilities:
* Continuous Improvements of standards and quality as the company grows
* Helping to drive the food safety culture
* Supplier approvals, reviews and maintenance
* Internal auditing across sites
* Reviewing and implementation of procedures and production records
* Document Control and record maintenance
* Trending of laboratory results
* Delivery of inductions, trainings and supporting team in GMP and new procedures.
* Environmental and cleaning monitoring
* Preparing samples for external lab testing
* Completion of retailer/wholesaler technical specifications
The Successful Applicant:
You should ideally have the following experience, working in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment
* Food Safety and HACCP qualification
* Experience in GMP, preferably BRC
* Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
* Flexible, organised with a high attention to detail, eager to progress and develop.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and Software, proficient PC skills.
* Confident to deliver training

About Flower of Life - Equinox Kombucha
Equinox Kombucha was founded in 2012 in Hebden Bridge and has grown to be the market leaders in the UK and Europe. Kombucha is a non-alcoholic fermented green tea drink. We discovered the tea whilst backpacking around Asia, and decided to make our own when we returned to the UK. There were a few of us at a loose end so we got together and set up a makeshift micro-brewery and started selling Kombucha at local markets. Demand grew so quickly that we soon needed more space to supply the wonder juice to an ever-growing crowd of Kombucha converts.
This is a very exciting time for the Kombucha industry as its growing at a fast pace in the UK & Europe distributing to hundreds of health food stores, cafes, supermarkets and bars across Britain.
