Birmingham 2022 is looking for a CCW Client Services Manager to join our friendly Catering Cleaning and Waste team. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage clients confidently and will ensure the smooth running of our Hospitality Programme.

The role will involve working across defined competition venues to deliver hospitality to the Sponsors, Commercial Clients and key stakeholder groups, who are an intrinsic part of the Games. The initial phase of this role will involve the development of the client services approach, followed by supporting the sales teams with responses to clients and then the subsequent fulfilment of the hospitality packages. The final phase will be operational and will involve the implementation and site supervision of the Client Services programme across the hospitality venues.

Responsibilities:

Support the Lead Hospitality Manager with the development of client services approach for the Hospitality Programme per venue & location
Support the Lead Hospitality Manager on the project planning of the client services milestones and timeline for the Hospitality Programme
Co-ordinate and respond to client and sponsor queries
Support the sales team/agents with enquiries and responses, where applicable
Co-ordinate the reporting on enquiries and responses on a weekly basis to the Lead Hospitality Manager
Support on payments and invoicing where required
Create and manage production of client services materials including location maps, menus, signage and badging
Manage the fulfilment process
Manage the guest dietary and accessible needs requirement
Take on the unique opportunity of a Games Time role

Skills and experience

Essential

Experience working in Hospitality client services management for large scale events
Experience in a client services role in a Hospitality environment
Knowledge of Hospitality Sales and Operations
Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills
Skilled in the use of Microsoft 365 Office suite of programmes including Excel spreadsheet and database management
Attention to detail and a strong customer service focus required

Desirable

Diploma/degree in Hospitality or Food technology or related area
Dynamic, self-motivated and innovative
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
