HR Manager EMEA - Maternity Cover 9-12 months FTC

This position is a HR Manager maternity cover role overseeing the EMEA HR function with a headcount of over 130 employees. They will deliver on building Employee Relations, Recruitment, Remuneration reviews, Performance Management, Training and Development, as well as the daily HR activities, supporting the company to meet to meet the business needs.

The role will cover the HR Manager EMEA position, covering both the UK and many countries in Europe, for maternity cover for a period of 9-12 months.

The key role responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Advising and supporting management across all HR issues, including capabilities, policies, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity provisions pay and employment law etc.
  • Management of HR Administrator
  • Completing the annual effective Performance Appraisal System.
  • Working with senior management to identify and implement individual training and development plans to meet short term and long term functional requirements.
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain the best talent for the business by the most effective methods.
  • Preparation of employment contracts, change of terms and advising the business of any changes according to legislative updates throughout EMEA, communicating appropriately to the business.
  • Monitoring the company remuneration and benefits against the market.
  • Ensuring the organisation is in compliance with UK and EU regulatory employee legislation.
  • Managing Health and Safety, reception and facilities management.
  • Providing high quality HR advice to all Managers and employees.
  • Provide advice and support to the CFO and MD

Skills and experience required:

  • Previously held similar positions of seniority, able to establish credibility and authority
  • Experience of working for a multinational organisation
  • CIPD qualified to Level 5
  • Able to problem solve and demonstrate operational skills
  • Able to demonstrate clear leadership skills
