Are you a CIPD qualified HR generalist, who can go into a company and hit the ground running, implementing strategic changes across a business?

Our client, a global powerhouse in Fashion Publishing, are looking for an experienced People Partner to support them on a temporary basis.

This is a very exciting time to join this company, as they are going through serious strategic change, so even though this is a temp role, it is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference.

Day-to-day you will be working closely with one other People Partner and within their close-knit wider People team, dealing mainly with the Commercial side of the business. Implementing and working with their new HR and payroll systems, as well as being involved with their employee engagement project and simultaneously supporting their new video team, this truly is a meaty role and waiting for you to roll your sleeves up and get involved.

Due to the nature of where you will be working within the business you will also understand tech, working with the commercial teams to build audience development, with a focus on traffic, while also being calm and dare we say it, a people person!

You will hold a full CIPD qualification to Level 5 or above (or equivalent); have proven generalist People experience including training and benefits. Excellent knowledge of employment law and experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously is important as is the ability to build positive relationships across the business. Previous experience within e-commerce and media is desirable but not essential.

If you like to see things in a list, then look no further, key skills and responsibilities are:

  • Support Line Managers dealing with strategic people plans and day to day people management. Including performance management, coaching support, development plans and succession initiatives
  • Review and develop People policies and processes, to ensure that they are fit for purpose and the People department offers a high level of support to the business
  • Work closely with the Talent Manager, People Administrators and Hiring Managers on talent planning in each department, identifying top talent and skill gaps
  • Responsible for managing ER, providing advice, and coaching to managers, ensuring legislation/process is followed, liaising with legal advisors where required
  • Support and collaborate with the People Director/Head of People Operations in the preparation, monitoring and control of the annual budgets/headcount across functions
  • Developing organisational structures that support the business, promote efficiency, and build line management capability
  • Partner with senior management to understand and monitor Learning & Development needs across the business as well as delivering and sourcing solutions
  • Work closely with direct report/s to ensure they manage their day-to-day tasks, looking to grow and develop them

This is a 4/5-week temporary booking, paying up to £23.09/hour. They also offer hybrid working with a 3/2 split, giving you the option to work from home two days a week.

Does this sound like the opportunity you have been waiting for? And are you ready to go in and hit the ground running? Don’t delay, apply today!

***Due to the high number of applications we receive, you will only be contacted if you have been successfully shortlisted. Thank you for your cooperation***
