Office & Social Media Coordinator at Charity - 3-6 months

This is a fantastic role to be part of a leading charity and will involve being integral to the day to day running of the thriving office! We are looking for someone highly flexible and adaptive, with the ability to multi-task, with strong organisational and highly effective administration skills. It requires a self-starter with a can-do attitude and the successful candidate will thrive on organising and supporting the team to be as effective as possible!

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Respond in a timely manner to messages sent by members of the community on email, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Engage with posts the charity are tagged in and replying to comments and questions on all social media channels 
  • Helping to maintain a well organised, tidy office to enable everyone to work happily and effectively
  • Book couriers and organise transport when needed
  • Organise the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
  • Liaise with office management, cleaning, maintenance and security team
  • Prepare tech and passes for new starters
  • Collect and distribute post
  • Meet and greet guests
  • Being a point of contact for community fundraisers supporting the charity
  • Being on hand to support during the busy winter period with whatever comes up day to day - this could include delivering a package to a VIP or helping out in one of the winter fundraising events

Key requirements:

  • Relevant and proven experience in an administrative role is essential. Previous experience working with non-profits desirable
  • Good social media knowledge
  • Self-starter with proven ability to take direction and work independently, using initiative.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks while ensuring quality output.
  • Acute attention to detail and able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing work demands
  • Ability and strong desire to work collaboratively.
