Role: House Manager/PA
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Days: Monday – Friday
Location: Mayfair
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 gross per annum (DOE)

We are looking for an awesome and experienced House Manager/PA to support a lovely but very busy Mother in their busy private household of six in Mayfair. They travel a lot during the holidays and have a small dog so animal lovers are essential! Their current House Manager/PA is moving on after many years and so they are looking for a new long-term addition to be their right-hand person.
The family have children and so would like a candidate who has experience and is comfortable around them. It is a fully staffed environment so you will need to be confident managing a team and have previous experience recruiting and managing private staff such as Housekeepers, Nannies, Chefs and Chauffeurs.
You will need to be very hands on to be responsible for running all private aspects of the family’s home and private affairs. You will be the first point of call for both the principals and other household staff for any household related matters, so flexibility regarding hours of work is required. They require someone highly adaptable, organised and proactive with excellent communication skills. You will need to have high energy and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Please note that the salary offered for the role will depend on the candidate’s previous earnings, skills, qualifications and experience.
To be considered for this role you must have previous permanent experience managing a team of staff within a private household.

Duties for this role include;
- Managing the household’s schedules and calendars
- Arranging appointments for the Principals and family
- Gatekeeping and managing contacts for the family
- Business letter drafting
- Being hands on to ensure the cleanliness and general smooth running of the house
- Manage individual projects and household procurement
- Event planning, organising, and coordination
- Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, and supervising contractors
- Updating household manuals
- Handling household bills and administrative duties
- Running errands and performing necessary tasks
- Supervision, training and recruitment of other household staff
- Liaise with payroll teams and employment advisors
- Create and manage the working rotas for staff
- Budgeting – as well as providing documents and evidence of sums spent
- Ordering food, supplies, and other requested items as needed
- Managing household budgets and accounts
- Personal shopping and liaising with luxury brands for gifting
- Coordinate family social activities
- Assist and oversee wardrobe maintenance and cataloguing
- Travel preparation and assisting with packing
- Liaising with family members and other personal contacts
Greeting guests to the residence
- In order to be considered for this role you must;
- Have 5+ years’ experience working within an UHNW private residence as a House Manager
- Possess (or be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS check
- Possess a clean driver’s licence
- Excellent contactable references
- Be fluent in English Language
- Have a valid passport
- Have excellent IT skills
