Receptionist Job Description
A meaty receptionist role for a first / second jobber looking to work in a fun, sociable environment!
The successful candidate will work alongside one other receptionist to manage an extremely busy reception with a wide range of responsibilities. You will assist with office management and the smooth running of the office as well PA overspill and office projects, including research.

Receptionist Benefits:

Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Managing the reception desk and meeting rooms, ensuring good time management and high standards to cleanliness throughout
- Responsible for morning walk rounds of occupied floors, monitoring activities and report on any maintenance / issues
- Answering and announcing calls using Microsoft communications server system
- Booking in and managing meeting room diaries and the inbox using Outlook
- Reconfirming meeting rooms the day before
- Announcing and greeting clients/guests upon arrival
- Organising refreshments / catering for meetings
- Assisting the PA’s when needed
- Keeping office spreadsheets up to date, such as stationery, couriers, maintenance logs, etc.
- Stationery orders, ordering when necessary and keeping the stationery room tidy
- Sorting and distributing post / arranging courier bookings
- General ad hoc duties including minute typing, printing documents for meetings and photocopying
- Booking train tickets and hotels for staff travel and allocating the costs
- Charity fundraising as and when required
- Research projects for the office
- Office management and stock management – liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Assistance with office events
