This exceptional leading UK architectural practice with an impressive collection of awards under their belt is looking for Document Control Assistant to join their busy team.

Working alongside and reporting to the Document Control Team Lead, the Document Control Assistant will support the Team and a range of Project Teams with the day to day running of projects, assisting each by carrying out a number of duties in a rigorous and efficient manner. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work that will allow the role to develop with the evolving needs of the practice.

Key duties include:

  • Assisting to maintain the various project extranet and EDMS
  • Carrying out routine Document Control activities, such as filing, uploading & downloading, printing, query handling, copying and scanning, on a daily basis
  • Managing drawing files according to individual project procedures
  • Ensuring all procedures and protocols are followed at all times
  • Assisting to maintain the practice-wide document management system
  • Archiving completed project information
  • Supporting the wider project team beyond Document Control responsibilities

It’s a great opportunity to be part of a team working in the architecture industry.  No previous experience in document control is necessary but you do need strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook as well as personal attributes including:

  • Ability to work independently, using own initiative when required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good organisational and time management skills

The role is office based 3 days a week, home based 2.
