We have a fantastic new opportunity to join this leading luxury interior design company looking for a Receptionist and Office Administrator to join their busy creative studio.
Working as the Receptionist, this role requires someone enthusiastic and personable with a great telephone manner and strong communication skills. An approachable, confident and professional attitude. IT literate, they will need to be able to use initiative and be pro-active.
The main part of role will be to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage reception and ensure the office runs smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage reception / FOH
- Maintain reception area to ensure it is clean and organised
- Welcome visitors into the office and look after them on arrival
- Answer the phones, direct calls through the office and take messages where necessary
- Co-ordinate and sign for mail and deliveries, book taxis and couriers
- Order stationery and office supplies
- Office upkeep – keep kitchen stocked, meeting rooms tidy etc.
- General office management – keep an eye on the office to ensure it looks professional and runs smoothly at all times
- Book meeting rooms and keep company calendars up to date
- Set up meeting facilities and ensuring all IT equipment (monitor, telephone, etc.) is readily available / in working order.
- Arrange and setup catering for meetings / internal events
- Update and maintain the IT equipment register and office key and security access pass register
- Induct new staff in H&S, fire safety, security and general office procedures
- Office troubleshooting - computers/printers/phones/coffee machine etc.
- Health & Safety – ensure certificates are up to date, fire extinguishers checked, fire drills done etc.
It’s a great varied role where you really will be an integral part of the smooth running of the studio, acting as the eyes and ears and being the ‘go to’ person for any support. You’ll need the ‘no job is too small’ approach and always service with a smile.
