Procurement Assistant - Interior Design

We are recruiting for the Procurement Team within an Interior Design firm based in Richmond - they take on huge projects which are truly out of this world, and we therefore require someone detail-orientated to work within this challenging, high profile environment. Ideal background for this role would be textiles / soft-furnishings / architecture / interior design / fashion production.  Working as part of a team, and reporting to the Creative Director duties will include the following:-

• Direct purchasing of FF&E materials including sourcing of bespoke fabrics and finishes

• Build and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers

• Inspecting items at warehouse for quality control

• Review and place purchase orders, expediting delivery as required

• Manage multiple estimates, ensuring all orders are charged back at correct values and quantities, and projects are delivered on time.

This role requires a candidate that is ambitious and confident, with a can-do positive attitude. Key skills and experience include:

• Strong numerical skills, capable of managing large budgets

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

• Organised and systematic approach to managing and maintaining comprehensive archiving systems
