Our client is a leading financial services & technology firm with several offices worldwide and exciting expansion plans. As the team rapidly grows, the HR team is looking to hire a permanent HR Generalist, with an interest in L&D and experience in global mobility, to join the busy team based in London.

This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is already a HR Generalist or a HR Assistant ready to step into this role. You will have a strong 360-degree Human resources skill-set to include L&D and global mobility and a commercial approach with a proactive attitude to deliver a ‘Market Leading’ employee experience for all employees. There will also be the opportunity to develop your skills in L&D, including the potential to lead learning sessions yourself.

What the role involves -

  • Manage HR processes and deliver outstanding employee support for a given client group
  • Roll up your sleeves helping not only to advance processes but administrate them
  • Find multi-tasking fun, whilst being organised enough to not lose your place
  • Friendly and engaging way of working, with the appropriate professionalism for difficult scenarios
  • Upholder of the law: rules, regulations and controls

What we are looking for from you

  • HR Assistant or similar level, with a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience working in the financial services industry is a must
  • Knowledgeable about of UK Employment Law & UKBA regulation
  • Enthusiastic about working in HR, and ideally developing your knowledge and experience in Learning & Development as a focus area
  • A good level of experience dealing with global mobility in an organisation including dealing with complex visa queries, issues and matters
  •  Ability to act in a personable, professional and tactful manner and be careful and discreet with confidential information
  • Willingness to learn and develop a career in HR, for example by gaining CIPD accreditation
