Proeon Systems is looking to strengthen their presence in the industrial control systems market with the appointment of a Procurement Administrator to join their growing team of project professionals.
Proeon Systems was formed in 2004 and is a forward thinking and successful industrial controls company specialising in the supply of high-quality control and safety systems based in Hethel, Norfolk. The company draws on world class engineering expertise to manage projects from concept design, development and manufacture of complete packages, through to providing support, installation and commissioning.
The Role
Proeon are looking for a keen & enthusiastic team player who can adapt their skills and experience towards the successful support of Procurement Administrator.
The role will involve support to the Project Team with specific responsibilities including:
* Procurement activities - Supplier order placement against engineer requisitions, monitoring of requisitions against preferred suppliers
* Supplier expediting - control & monitoring supplier delivery expectations to meet project requirements.
* Commercial updates to SAGE - updating project budget data with changes project orders.
* General Project Team support - Adhoc data / processing support to Project Managers (where required).
Required areas of knowledge include:
* Industry & Commercial awareness experience
* Health & Safety aware in the workplace
* Understanding / appreciation of business finance processes
The Person
We are looking for a person with the following skills and qualifications:
* Min qualification: A Level Graduated, 3 GCSE's - to include Maths, English
* PC literate in MS products: Word, Excel.
* Good communication skills - verbal & written
* Positive attitude & drive to succeed
* Ability to plan, organise & prioritize workload efficiently & effectively.
* Good time management with strong delivery performance.
* Ability to timely adapt to changing situations
* Excellent attention to detail
* Adaptability to work as a team & on own individual merits
* Willingness to learn & develop further, with expanding roles / responsibilities as the business grows
