At the University of Nottingham Students' Union, we are committed to delivering commercial activity relevant to our diverse membership. We're looking to recruit a new committed People & Organisational Development Administrator into our Nottingham team. You will work on a part time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP17,290 - GBP20,559 per annum dependant on experience.
Who are we and what do we do?
Here at the University of Nottingham Students' Union, we are a connected student community. A brilliant, diverse, ambitious community, 34,000 strong. We are proudly independent from the university and right at the heart of student life. We're a diverse community from first-year undergraduates to research students, elected student Officers, and staff, to volunteers, pioneers, and so much more. Together, we are getting involved, making change, and supporting each other, making student life at the University of Nottingham the very best it can be.
About the role of our People & Organisational Development Administrator:
Our People and Organisational Development team work as the 'engine room' at UoNSU, working to help our people be brilliant and do amazing things for students.
Our People & Organisational Development Administrator will work to support the P&OD team to enable our people across the Union to make their best contribution. This role collaboratively supports others in the team by implementing and monitoring administrative frameworks that ensure the effective running of the P&OD function.
This is a new role for the team which we are really excited about, so you will have the opportunity to help shape the role, the team, and the projects underpinning the work. This role will work to support our Governance systems, HR systems (with a particular focus on recruitment), and our Health and Safety team and processes.
Our People Offer:
When you come to you bring your skills, experience, talent, commitment, and a desire to do a great job. Our Students' Union prides itself on being inclusive, working collaboratively, and empowering individuals to be the best they can.
In return we want to be an employer where every member of the staff team feels valued, trusted, inspired, and able to grow and to have fun. We welcome those of different cultures, ethnicities, and beliefs - this very diversity is vital to our success, it is fundamental to our values and enriches life on campus. We value diversity, promote equality, and challenge discrimination. We want to increase the diversity of our staff team and we would like to encourage applications from disabled, LGBT+ and Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
