Joining the team as a Customer Service Representative means working with a market leader in the manufacture of chemical products that serve a diverse range of applications e.g. air conditioning, medical propellants and energy storage. The Customer Service Representative will be effectively coordinating resources and handling clients' enquiries, orders and returns, in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring client needs are met on time and in full. The role will be managing despatch and export of products to ensure S&OP plans are fully met, whilst ensuring compliance with business requirements and various countries regulations and legislation.
Responsibilities of the successful Customer Service Representative:
Process client enquiries and orders through to invoicing. Provide regular debt chasing feedback and ensure that clients are kept informed of the progress of their orders
Prepare and issue accurate documentation, in particular with regards to banking documents, and ensuring letters of credit requirements are satisfactorily met
Liaise with Account Managers to ensure that clients' needs are met and agreed pricing policy is implemented. Ensure orders are regularly reviewed with them against forecast for S&OP efficiency
Ensure complaints are handled efficiently and effectively by recording them and investigating them in the appropriate manner
Comply with all applicable regulations so that the business can deliver the requirements of our clients, whilst ensuring 100% compliance with legislation
Develop an understanding of our clients' needs and expectations, to deliver excellent serviceBased at the company's site at Thornton Science Park, applicants for the Customer Service Representative role will require a minimum of 2 years' experience in a B2B Customer Service Representative position. A proven track record of export experience including handling of letters of credit, bank collections and various export documentation is essential. It would also be desirable for candidates to have experience of SAP and an understanding of GMP.
