Human Resources Assistant (part time- fixed term contract)
22.5 Hours per week (3 days per week)
GBP10.25-GBP10.76 per hour (GBP12,000-GBP12,500 per annum)
Our client based near Bury St Edmunds is searching for a part time Human Resources Assistant to join their friendly office team within their busy and ever growing business. The successful candidate will provide HR administration across the group, supporting a proactive HR division that deliver excellent customer service. This will be a part time role spread over 3 days and for an initial fixed term period until the end of May 2022. Experience with Microsoft packages and in-house systems would be desirable but training will be provided on specific systems and the business itself.
Main duties and responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive administrative service across all HR processes, ensuring tasks are met with accuracy and attention to detail and that all Service Level Agreements are compliant with company policies.
Ensure all data is accurately added and maintained on the HR system
Ensure all HR paperwork required is sent out accurately and on time
Keep all files up to date, processing starters and leavers in an accurate and timely manner
Work closely with the HR Administrators, Team Leader and Advisors to ensure all completed work meets the individual needs of the relevant customer
Other ad-hoc duties deemed appropriate by the team leader and other members of the HR department.
Key skills and attributes
Excellent administrative experience and a genuine interest in HR
Experience with Microsoft Office packages (Word/Excel)
Confident with excellent communication skills
Team player/people person
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated
