Contract Position based at: Whitley

Rate: up to GBP45.92/hr Ltd (cGBP35.31/hr PAYE option)

Position Description:

In January 2021, a new global strategy: Reimagine, the next chapter for our unique business and the two brands it represents, Jaguar and Land Rover. We have launched a Reimagine Transformation Programme, and it is within this framework that we are looking to recruit a Reward Manager (Transformation Projects) The Global Reward Centre of Expertise designs, develops and delivers strategies across Jaguar Land Rover in relation to reward and benefits policies and processes.

This role benchmarks with the external environment to identify best practices in reward, consider the applicability to Jaguar Land Rover specific transformation project/s and then develops and implements policies, processes and initiatives, as appropriate.

This particular opportunity will be responsible for reward support for transformational projects which support Jaguar Land Rover's Reimagine strategy, and will include global reward strategies.

The role will be measured on its ability to design and implement appropriate reward structures and has a transformational and global project focus. It will need to ensure Reward is compliant, competitive, appropriate and affordable.

The role will work closely with the Global Reward COE, HRBP/s and external partners to design structures which can be used as a template for similar future ventures in transformational areas in line with the Company's Reimagine strategy.

Design, develop and implement short and long-term incentive schemes appropriate to the market Design, develop, implement effective pay for performance policies

Design, develop and implement annual remuneration review policies

Establish processes for salary management, e.g. salary ranges Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulation, including tax

Establishing processes for job evaluation and market pricing of roles Establish appropriate

Experience Required:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: Previous experience of working in a Reward management role/s with a proven track record of development and delivery of successful Reward projects
  • Experience of consolidating compensation and benefits within employment contract terms and conditions. New start up reward experience
  • Experience of stakeholder management and networking skills Proven experience of end to end Process Development
  • Experience of Business Influencing and Contracting Proven Project Management experience using Project Management techniques e.g. Project Planning, Risk Management etc.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
  • Proven track record of successful Stakeholder Management, specifically the ability to confidently advise and influence senior stakeholders

Experience Preferred:

Desirable: Experience of TUPE Commercially astute with an ability to understand the business function that this role supports Global reward experience Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities The role will ensure remuneration packages are externally competitive, support transformational projects and work closely with the HR Business Partners. This role will also: Scan and analyse the external environment to identify best practices, particularly focused on start-up organisations Keep abreast of key trends and industry movements by developing strong external networks Ensure effective deployment of Reward approaches and tools Develop business cases for change, including financial modelling and stakeholder management Utilising project management techniques to ensure the achievement of planned outcomes Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective Change Management on projects Work collaboratively with other Centre of Expertise colleagues and senior stakeholders in order to deliver a coherent strategy to the business Negotiate and influence senior management and other stakeholders where appropriate Apply working knowledge of key Reward practices, best practices and industry knowledge when negotiating with internal and external stakeholders and customers Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
