The Client - is a reputable International Law Firm.

They are looking for an International HR Advisor to join their team in the Leeds or Manchester office. Some flexible home working is on offer.

You will be joining an established HR team of over 30 people. They are a people-centred firm.

If you have European or International experience this would be advantageous. However it isn't essential, if you are an experienced HR Advisor that relishes the challenge and stretch this role will offer learning laws and regulations in several different countries/jurisdictions, I encourage you to apply!

The Role - is a generalist International HR Advisor role, supporting employees across the firm globally - Asia, Middle East, Germany, France primarily. The Firm has plans for future expansion into Europe so this could lead onto a larger role in the future.

The main areas of responsibility will be resourcing, reward, employee relations and other operational activities. You will also be expected to support strategic HR initiatives and projects across the team.

You will provide support and advice on a full range of employee relations activities including performance management, absence management, discipline and grievance procedures, flexible working and equal opportunities

Other duties include:

  • Managing and delivering end-to-end HR processes, including administration support;

  • Providing first line response to partners, managers and employees on all HR matters

  • Assisting with the annual HR activity including performance and compensation processes;

  • Arranging client and internal secondments (UK & International);

  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating HR policies and templates, ensuring these are in line with current

    legislation and firm culture

  • Assisting the Resourcing Manager with recruitment activity including interviews, onboarding, induction and

    talent pooling

  • Training and supervising the HR Apprentice on various processes

  • Supporting and leading on various HR projects

  • Creation and presentation of HR KPIs, trend analysis and ad hoc reports as and when required

You - will have demonstrable experience in a HR role (at Advisor level or above) within Law or Professional Services.

You will also be or have:

  • A strong communicator who is commercial and able to meet deadlines.
  • Experience of supporting employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and capability

    processes

  • The ability to work collaboratively and be pragmatic and positive in approach

  • Attention to detail and passion for high quality and accuracy

  • Proven ability to take full ownership of core operational processes end-to-end and lead specific projects

    whilst possessing the tenacity to see projects and tasks through to completion

  • Excellent HRIS experience and proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
