Technical Support Administrator - Maternity Cover 9 months possibly longer

Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment company based in Norfolk, we are working closely with our client based on the outskirts of Norwich who are looking for a technical person to join their team for a fixed term contract

Job Summary/Purpose:
To support the Technical Coordinator in devising, planning, and execution of food safety and quality activities across site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Health and Safety

Promote and support a safe working environment and foster a culture of 'safety first'
Ensure that all H&S policies are adhered to.

Control of suppliers and products

Support the Technical Coordinator in reviewing and updating raw material and product specifications in line with legal requirements and the business needs.
Maintaining technical files (supplier, product and customer records)
Distribution of the supplier requirements matrix and management of return documentation, ensuring validation and accuracy of information
Support the Technical Coordinator in communication with customers with regards to product information, specifications and controls
Support the Technical Coordinator with customer complaint handling - Investigation and reports

Audit Support
Provide third party audit support both prior to and during audit
Provide adhoc administration support to the Technical Department

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a technical position within a food manufacturing environment

This role could be offered as part time or full time, minimum 25 hours per week.

Due to rural location of client site own transport is essential
