The EA role is busy, varied and involved and includes complex diary management and scheduling, meeting co-ordination, planning international travel, HR/recruitment, expenses and ensuring the office runs smoothly.  Your boss is high profile in his field - he's highly academic, very approachable and he values and appreciates hard working individuals who are quick, precise and deliver with minimum fuss and a light touch. 

The ideal candidate:

• A bright graduate - or someone who is graduate calibre who thrives in an academic environment and working with brilliant minds 
• 3 years EA experience and confident with all core EA duties
• Highly organised, accurate with strong attention to detail - excellent spelling and grammar
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Thrives in a fast moving and sometimes challenging environment
• Emotionally Intelligent
• Must be interested in the role science plays in the world 
• Reliable and totally discreet
