HR Manager

Ashley Kate are pleased to be partnering with a well established manufacturing business in recruiting a HR Manager to join them at their Sheffield site.

Reporting into the site MD, and as a member of the wider group HR management team you will provide professional support and advice to the site, and hold responsibility for 2 direct reports.

This is generalist role offers the opportunity to manage a remit of approx 250 employees, to ensure the smooth day to day running of the function. The role is very hands on and operational , supporting all levels of the business from shop floor to management.

The Role:
* Sit on the senior management team
* Policy & procedure development and implementation
* ER Management - in Particular Absences and performance management.
* Build strong relationships with management, coaching/Guiding/advising them through all people issues
* Leading the site recruitment and on boarding
* Very generalist and hands on role
* Payroll
