A fantastic opportunity for a proactive Business Operations Assistant to provide seamless "right hand" support to a busy and dynamic COO. This is a role where the right candidate can really make their mark, get involved in all aspects of the business working very closely with the COO and take ownership of projects. This role is much more than a traditional EA role with lots of scope to grow and get involved with a well-established, hugely successful and fun organisation. The business continues to grow year on year and with their ambitious growth plans comes the need for a hands on Business Operations Assistant.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Working closely with COO on projects to continually improve functions across the business (e.g. annual appraisal process review, improving onboarding process, new system roll outs)
- Working very closely with back office teams – IT, HR & Finance
- ISO Certifications – Coordinate ISO certifications for the companies in the group and keeping track of projects
- Arranging Board meetings and preparing relevant documentation
- Dealing with incoming correspondence/emails & flagging important issues
- Reviewing client terms of business
- Ad hoc personal support to COO
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
- Advanced Excel skills a must and strong Office 365 Skills
- Experience of working in fast paced environment
- Project management experience (i.e. system roll outs)
- Strong but diplomatic personality when coming in/ getting to know the teams
- Be people, process, systems, and technology focused with a track record of implementing effective change
- Business savvy with the ability to learn how the business runs
This is a wonderful opportunity for an Office Manager or Senior EA who has previously coordinated projects to take the next step towards an Operations focussed role. You will have a good degree (finance, business or legal ideal), you will have worked at Exec level and come from a finance or professional services background.
Working hours 9am - 5.30pm, great work culture and balance (3 days per week remote, 2 days based in central London office)
