Fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a professional service firm.  This is a permanent role!

Joining the existing HR team our client is looking  to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and hardworking individual who is looking for an opportunity to progress their existing HR career.

Salary £35,000 + fantastic benefits package and bonus.  Hours 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday with two days working in the office and three days working from home.

 Duties include:

  • Providing expert advice, guidance and support to line managers and staff on HR issues including but not limited to employment policies, performance management, absence management, welfare issues, flexible working requests, disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Issuing relevant documents around Employee Lifecycle
  • Ability to work on HR Projects
  • Assist the effectiveness of new joiner, probation and leaver processes including liaison with relevant colleagues and Managers throughout the company
  • Manage investigations and support with hearings on disciplinary, capability and grievances policies as required
  • Ongoing review of company policies and procedures recommending and updating policies where appropriate, to ensure they are current and in line with best practice and statute.
  • Experience of dealing with Occupational Health, referring cases as necessary and ensuring implementation of recommendations
  • Support the appraisal process including attending preparation meetings, appraisal meetings and following up on objectives.
  • Support annual salary and bonus review process

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • A minimum of 2/3 year experience in HR ideally in an HR Advisor role
  • A strong Employee Relations background
  • Excellent organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • An HR related degree or CIPD Level 5 would be an advantage
  • Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative
  • Have excellent attention to detail 
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to liaise with Partners and all levels of the business
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Good time management with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible attitude, with ability to prioritise workloads
  • Respect the need for confidentially
  • Good MS Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
