This is a wonderful opportunity for a confident and engaging Business Assistant to work for a highly regarded interior design company.  Based from stunning offices in Chelsea as part of a close knit, collaborative team, you will be relied upon to work autonomously with a strong sense of initiative:  duties will include: 

Finance

Reconciling business credit cards

Managing domestic and international VAT returns

Approving and processing office invoices

Reporting on end of month P&L

Making invoice payments and bank reporting

Issuing project and company invoices

Office Management

Liaising with suppliers/building management etc

Ordering supplies

Handling design of Christmas card design, client gifting

HR

Recording holiday, sickness, absences

Handling recruitment (advertising, shortlisting candidates interviewing)

Onboarding new employees

Health and Safety

Liaising with external HR company for annual reviews

Conducting staff reviews and monitoring employee’s wellbeing

PR

Handing press enquiries

Managing PR projects

The ideal Business Assistant will have 5+ years’ experience in a managerial role, who is comfortable working with financial processes and documents.  The ability to prioritize and work to deadlines is key.  As this is a small office everybody mucks in and as such there is a real family feel and people rarely leave.
