My client who is a global commodities organisation based in the West End, is looking for a qualified CAD technical with facilities experience to join a well-established facilities team, overseeing access control, including floor plans and being involved in ad hoc projects.
This role is quite a blend of different areas of Facilities and will require someone who is a self starter, with excellent communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships with their team and stakeholders both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare floor plans
* Manage changes as required and ensure plans are fully maintained and up to date, including leavers and joiners and changes due to desk moves, including all changed positions of desks/storage or plants and also as a result of any refurbishment changes
* Manage Facilities assets including furniture, fixtures and fittings
* Process invoices

Oversee Access Control and CCTV on a day-to-day basis, including:
* Prepare staff passes
* Take staff photos
* Prepare management reports
* Manage joiners and leavers on access system
* Liaise with building security and building management regarding joiners and leavers
* Liaise with third parties and IT on any issues, software updates and regular PPM reviews.

Management of Auditors whilst on-site, including:
* Liaise with relevant members of the Facilities Team and the Business, primarily within IT and Finance, to ensure all necessary preparations, such as induction, room allocation, electrics, IT equipment, WiFi access are made available in advance of Auditors attending the office
* Ensure access and appropriate passes are provided
* Primary contact for any requirements needed throughout the duration of the Auditors visit
* Manage strict return of passes before Auditors depart.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
* CAD qualification, intermediary+ level
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Ability to work in an organised manner and prioritise workload
* Patience and diplomacy
* Ability to understand and analyse complex information and present it simply and accurately
* Attention to detail and an analytical approach
* A flexible approach to work, as some out of hours may be required, together with providing cover when colleagues are on leave
* Smartly presented
* Team player, with a good sense of humour
* Proficient IT Skills - intermediate to advanced level of Proficiency in MS Office
* General Facilities background is preferable.
