We are recruiting for our client, a hugely successful FMCG packaging business, as they look to expand their Customer Service and Supply Chain Team. Their market is thriving, they are a completely safe business to join even during these challenging global times. This is a permanent, full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday, 8:30-4:45pm.
As our new Production and Supply Chain Administrator you will be responsible for ordering packaging materials to agreed parameters and generating reports to support the Supply Chain function. As our Production and Supply Chain Administrator you will expedite orders in line with production requirements and will liaise with planning and stores colleagues to ensure materials are brought on site in line with demand and capacity.
Key responsibilities as our Production and Supply Chain Administrator will include:
Placing packaging orders using requirements based on SAP in line with agreed parameters
Liaising with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of outstanding orders or for rescheduling as required
Escalating potential delivery issues which may impact on the production schedule
Liaising with suppliers and goods in to ensure a balanced daily / weekly material receipt schedule
Generating and issuing supplier forecasts on regular basis
Raising Purchase Orders for other non-stock items as required
Maintaining correct live material pricing within the management system and resolving invoice queries if they arise
Running the key daily archive and error trap reports
Providing cover for other roles within the department as required
Skills required as our Production and Supply Chain Administrator
A good level of general education to G.C.S.E or equivalent, with Maths and English at C grade or above
A good level of general administrative experience
Good communication skills
Good organisational skills and a methodial approach to tasks
Good eve for detail
Accomplished MS Office systems knowledge, especially in MS Excel is required
A positive, cooperative, 'can do' attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to work to deadlines
MRP / ERP system experience would be advantageous, SAP specifically
Experience of working in an FMCG environment would be beneficial
