Are you a talented and business-focused copywriter, comfortable producing short-form content? 

Do you have experience of working directly with clients, taking briefs and presenting ideas and stories?

Are you able to craft the right words to connect with people over a variety of different subjects? 

Our client is an in-house creative agency, based in a global investment bank.  They are looking for a storyteller who’s conceptual and will translate client requests into content that people will want to watch, read or listen to!

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Working as part of a 15 strong creative team, alongside designers, animators and producers
  • Developing ideas and writing copy (with a focus on short-form content) for various parts of the business that will appear both internally and externally
  • Liaising directly with clients, interrogating briefs and partnering with them to fully understand their subject and the story they wish to tell
  • Managing each project from start to finish within time and budget
  • Ensuring all work is on-brand and retains right tone of voice
  • Keeping up to date with best practice and engaging with what other brands are doing to engage through copy

The skills you need to bring:

  • Experience writing for corporate brands and directly to the consumer
  • Experience producing short-form copy – advertising, social content, email campaigns, through to film scripts and treatments
  • Ability to understand complex subjects and transform them into compelling stories
  • Experience in a client-facing role, having built strong relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas and stories to internal clients
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, delivering projects on-time, on-budget and on-brand
  • Technological literacy
  • Experience of working for an in-house team and an understanding of financial brands will be beneficial
