This is a very exciting role! You will be working for a juggernaut entrepreneur in finance, who has many varied business interests and is a passionate Philanthropist. This individual is very impressive, very kind, fair, laughs a lot and is at a pivotal place in time right now, which has opened up this wonderful opportunity. Some of this principal's staff have been there for more than 15 years already - its a great atmosphere and someone who has the right work ethic, is welcome to come into the fold! 

I am looking for a candidate who can keep up and has the right attitude: All hands on deck, roll up those sleeves, doer not a talker. I am looking for gravitas, professionalism, a calm predisposition, the ability to work independently but also to be a wonderful addition to the existing team and someone who has a great sense of humour with a positive outlook on life. 

You will be involved in many aspects of the principal's life where you will be providing private PA support in the form of light House Management duties, organising Parties, dealing with personal admin such as passport renewals or medical appointments, dealing with friends and family of the principal.
You will also be carrying out business duties where you will be coordinating between your principal's work life, philanthropic commitments as well as the Family Office. 
You will be booking all domestic and international travel, both commercial and private and you will have the type of personality where you make it your goal to make the journey as seamless and comfortable for your principal as possible - not because you'll get into trouble if something goes wrong, but because that is just who you are! Someone that became a PA because you love supporting creative, successful, inspirational individuals that are on top of their game! 

HUGELY EXCITING is that you will be spearheading the set up of a new Family Office in NYC!!! A really meaty project that's going to keep you busy busy busy! You will be responsible for finding new premises and you will be kitting out the new Family Office with stunning furniture! You will then yourself, be working from that new Family Office going forward - so I guess you will be having first dibs on wherever you want to sit! 
When that Family Office is set up, your role is going to morph into something else. The role will grow and as the role will grow you will be redefining what that role is - you will have the opportunity to put your stamp on it - the sky is the limit with this one. What it comes down to is your attitude and work ethic. 

You need to be tech savvy and be able to deal with people on every level - from construction workers to CEOs. 
No job is too little or too big - sounds cliche but you really do need to have that kid of mindset. Be a "do-er" not a "talker". 

You will be the Right Hand Woman or Man for this wonderful Principal. It's an important position and as such, you need to have at least 5 years experience in a similar level. 

Hours will be 8am to 4pm but you will be responsive to calls and emails 24/7. 
Private Health Care. 
Ideal start date is October but can be somewhat flexible. 
Salary between $120,000 to $160,000 depending on experience.
