The Assistant will work within the Music division of a leading global media production / branding agency and reporting into Head of Production (Music) will provide administrative support for production, account management & new business.  Although the agency is large with offices in London and across the States, the Music division is still relatively small (approx. 10 people) so you will be joining a tight but quickly growing team.  Having placed a number of staff within the company previously, we can confirm that there is proven career progression within the company.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assist the Music Manager in producing client quotations. 
  • Assist in the sourcing of bespoke pricing by liaising with supply partners to brief & discuss bespoke projects.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of all global supplier price lists.
  • Developing an understanding of target margins per product and client.  
  • Carry out industry research when required – for example, this could involve collating details of potential clients within a territory. 
  • Maintain up to date client and supplier information on management system – for example, updating price lists following supplier price increases or when a new product is produced. 
  • Receipting of all projects once complete, so Finance can raise invoices.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all music product specifications and production processes.
  • Build a Bill of Materials for products.
  • Order Test Pressings for Vinyl, CD, DVD and Blu-Ray
  • Responsible for managing any general admin for the Music division, including creation of commercial invoices, booking couriers for both national and international transport.
