HRand Payroll Manager
Our exclusive client is a market leader in the manufacture of bespoke home improvement products. They offer a wide range of products in a variety of materials. Their products are all made in the UK across several manufacturing facilities.
They now have an urgent requirement for an experienced HR Manager to join them at their Corby site. This position is part of the business management team and currently has two direct reports.
The successful candidate will ensure an effective and efficient Human Resources service is provided to the whole business. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:
* Drive the HR function, implementing new HR initiatives.
* Review and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and Handbooks.
* Manage the Processing of weekly and monthly payroll in conjunction with direct reports
* Monitor employee timekeeping and attendance & update absence records, informing Managers of any anomalies
* Manage any disciplinary / grievance issues with relevant Manager/employee.
* Production of HR Circulars in line with changes in Employment Legislation, best practice, changes in policy and procedures etc.
* Review and monitoring of the Company's Recruitment and Selection Policy and provide advice to departments on appropriate recruitment and selection methods.
* Produce all relevant contractual documentation for new employees/leavers. Training and Management Development
* Manage appraisal process and documentation
* Assist in the management of the induction process, ensuring that all necessary information is received within the required timescales.
* Assisting the Senior Management Team on issues such as Pay Awards and Bonuses.
* Check weekly production clocking's, making time/absence amendments/holiday allocation as appropriate
* Monthly group reporting
