What's the purpose of the role?
The RM Group has recognised that there is need to run a number of change Projects within People & Culture to support The Future of Work, but also reviewing the core systems that support People Services across the One RM estate, in the UK, India and Australia.
Business outcomes (role in support of)
* Process simplification - decrease the complexity of RM People & Culture processes
* Common processes - deliver more consistent/common, consolidated and integrated processes across the RM Group
* Data models - definition and adoption of one common core model internally within each Division and more widely across the RM Group
* Create efficiencies - reduce the resource intensive nature of some RM administration and end-to-end activities
* Best practice - adopt practices and procedures closer to relevant industry best practices; where possible and where consistent with other business priorities
* Reporting & Analysis - improve in effort to produce, timeliness, granularity and accuracy)
What does the job entail?
The Project Manager will be responsible (hands-on) for the preparation and management of the day-to-day project and management activities aligning the RM People & Culture operations and systems to successfully implement a series of deployments of both systems and improved and aligned processes. This covers supporting design through to delivery and deployment activities, identifying any cross project dependencies to and then enable live service transition to BAU. Reporting to the Business Change and also to Program Management, working closely with the key implementation partners and RM workstreams. The focus is to support delivering customer focused changes to enhance the Employee and Manager experience within RM.
Specifically, will be accountable for the areas of:
* Task level planning
* Task level preparation
* Task level coordination
* Partner/Supplier activity coordination
* Business Owner Management coordination and resource planning
* Coordination with IS project teams where appropriate
* Implementations "Cut-Over" preparation, planning and execution
* Acceptance Into Service (release regime)
* Dependency management
* Issue resolution/management
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of hands on day-to-day preparation and project management activities across major transformation projects/programmes. You will be able to demonstrate management of the detailed execution of the life-cycle of business implementation including development, go-live and post-implementation transition activities.
We need someone with:
* Strong experience of successful systems and process implementation and change in one or more of the following areas: HR, People & Culture
* Exposure to multiple industries, business models and processes
* Experience of large, complex business transformation programmes
* Strong analytical skills
* Knowledge of B2B facing services and applications
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
