COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE

Our client is a world class, award winning, long established and growing manufacturing business, with strong and sustained investment in people, capital and plant. Due to continued growth, they are recruiting an experienced Purchasing Co-Ordinator or a more Junior level candidate looking for their next step.

The successful candidate will provide clerical, administrative and co-ordination support to the purchasing team to ensure efficient flow of data through purchasing using IFS (Enterprise Resource Planning system) in line with business process and procedure. They will interpret the internal contract review document and construct product structures. They will interact with the supply chain to identify and request material and sub contract quotations and raise purchase orders to suit manufacturing requirements.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Head of Information Security, Data Integrity & Compliance

* Liaise with team members to ensure all documentation is made available and attached in the correct location in IFS.

* Identify, create and structure (dress) all applicable parts which are required throughout the manufacturing process as identified in the contract review document

* Ensure all parts carry the correct information including serialisation requirements

* Understand and react to Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) by:

- Understanding MRP calculation verses shop order demands

- Interacting with the supply chain to acquire quotations for both raw material and sub contract services

- Ensuring all communications are connected in IFS using existing methods

- Creating shop order demands as directed

* Manage order changes

* Produce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports using system data in preparation for internal & external meetings

* Challenge current methods and practices to continuously improve business efficiencies

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES - Head of Information Security, Data Integrity & Compliance

* Experience of working with MRP, using an ERP system, within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous

* Experience of working with a material and sub-contract supply chain

* Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook,

* High level of computer literacy

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

* Good standard of education with at least GCSE level in Mathematics and English

* NB: Candidates may be asked to undertake a security check (Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check)

Details of Packages:

GBP21,000 to GBP25,000 (Depending on Experience) + Benefits - Holidays

Normal Hours of work 8-4 or 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Thursday, 8.30 to 1.30 Friday. (Some flexibility may be agreeable Monday to Thursday, but not Fridays)
