This is a really exciting role, working for a fresh pasta start-up. They are currently looking for a temporary chef, who has experience working with fresh pasta, to work in their food truck at a food festival over the August bank holiday. The owner is super passionate, and wants someone who can match their passion as well. There is a potential for this role to become permanent.
The days are working Thursday and Friday in their kitchens in Surrey, preparing the pasta and learning more about the business, and then working the bank holiday weekend in their food truck at The Hampton Court Food Festival. The event itself welcomes 5000 people a day, and they are expecting to serve a couple hundred people a day, so someone who can work in a fast paced environment is key.
The days (Thursday - Monday) are working 8am - 7pm and the salary is £15 per hour.
The company is currently in a growing phase, so there is a potential for this role to become permanent, so if you're experienced with fresh pasta, have a passion for food and having fun, this is the role for you. There is the opportunity for great development in this role, as the company are happy to invest in you.

- Prepare the pasta and sauces in their kitchens in the days before the festival

- Juggle multiple multiple orders at once
- Cook a couple-hundred orders a day
