A leading property and investment firm with great prestige and history are looking for an immediate start ER and People Advisor in an ongoing temporary capacity. This role is required 4 days in the office and has the potential of one day remote working.

Candidates must have Level 5 CIPD. Candidates must be vibrant, enthusiastic, strategic thinkers and passionate about diversity, inclusion and new ideas.

  1. To provide general assistance to the Director – People, Culture and Customer Experience and the Senior People and Development Manager and advisory and administrative support to the P&D Department.

 

  1. To provide support and advice to managers regarding all employee relation issues and, where necessary, carryout Disciplinary and Grievance Investigations and Hearings and Redundancy meetings.
  1. To drive initiatives to support the employee wellbeing strategy.

 

  1. To actively support ways to improve D&I within the Company

 

  1. Assist with recruitment, including;
  • formulation of job descriptions;
  • conduct interviews; 
  • liaise with recruitment agencies;
  • attend job fairs;
  • advertise vacancies, internally, externally and on SharePoint;
  • draft contracts;
  • conduct induction of permanent staff;
  • assist in the organisation, delivery and designing of new recruitment assessments;
  • assist with sourcing promotional boards to support sourcing talent and out D&I objectives;
  • evaluate the recruitment strategy to ensure best practice and that the best talent is being sourced;
  • to provide management with relevant recruitment reports as and when required to analyse trend information to be used to enhance the recruitment strategy;
  • conduct exit interviews and process leaver information and;
  • assist with updating Company Application process.
  1. To assist with the recruitment and supply of temporary staff when required including processing and the monitoring and distribution of Agency Ts &Cs letters and to provide advice on Agency Worker Regulations.
  1. To assist with the design and delivery of the induction for new employees.
  1. To assist delivering training of HR related topics to managers/staff.
  1. To assist with the delivery of employee engagement projects as and when required.
  1. To assist with administering Company benefits, sourcing new Company benefits and/or reviewing the Company benefits package.
  1. To liaise with all levels of staff regarding any queries relating to sickness and absence and to assist with health review meetings as and when required.
  1. To obtain medical reports as and when required.
  1. To notify staff (where appropriate) of any changes to Company Sick Pay arrangements as requested by line management.
  1. To process department payments as and when required.
  1. To achieve any specific P&D Department Objectives in relation to the above scope of work.
  1. To be thoroughly familiar with the Company’s “Health & Safety” Policy and procedures.
  1. To reflect the company core values: Excellence Engagement, Collaboration, Ownership and Innovation, into everyday performance.
  1. Ad hoc duties/ projects as requested by the Senior People and Development Manager and Director – People, Culture and Customer Experience.
