We have an exciting new opportunity for a HR Risk & Compliance Officer to join our expanding HR team on a 6 month Fixted Term Contract. You support the ongoing delivery of the Senior Manager & Certification Regime and related HR risk regulated activity.
Support the HR team with administration of the SMCR and Conduct Frameworks on an ongoing basis, to ensure Arrow Global operates within the regulations. Provide advice and guidance on specific SMCR and Conduct issues, including onboarding and remuneration. You will lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, ensuring that the risks within the People Team are accurate and have been appropriately assessed with mitigating controls in place.
manage any HR incidents, reporting and resolutions.
The role can be based at any of our UK office's combined with home working. Due to the current Pandemic this will initially be a home-based role. Some travel across the UK & Ireland as required
What will you be doing?
Supporting the wider HR team manage SMCR programme in the UK
Provide key metrics, monthly reporting, process improvements and optimisation initiatives that deliver on firms' regulatory responsibilities
Deliver annual certification process
Work closely with other key stakeholders within the business (e.g. Legal, Risk and HR) in any SMCR and Conduct related matters
Play a lead role in implementation of Compliance led regulatory change projects
Annual SoR review
Management Responsibility and Map maintenance
Maintenance of operating procedures
Manage ad hoc data requests to agreed deadlines
Policy management
Communications
Liaising with the relevant risk owner for status updates
Logging of incidents and associated actions
Completing & evidencing control testing
Is this you?
Previous experience in working with SMCR regulations and how they impact regulated financial services firms
Experience operating as a lead analyst to manage work streams and processes independently
Knowledge of common HR/Compliance metrics and reporting
Analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
Can thrive in a complex matrix environment, collaborate effectively with broader HR, compliance and business teams
Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics with key problem solving and root cause identification skills
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
Proven track record of stakeholder management and engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
