This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced and talented Senior Private Personal Assistant to support a high profile, ultra-high net worth individual across all areas of their private life. Working alongside a Chief of Staff, and supported by a Junior Private PA, you will work to ensure that the principal’s life runs seamlessly and that their frequent, complex and ever-changing travel schedules are planned to perfection and run without a glitch. The position will be a combination of working remotely from home, from the private family office in Central London, as well as from the principal’s home. Occasional international travel may also be required and therefore flexibility is key for this role.
The principal is in the public eye, and therefore a very high level of discretion is essential for this role. You will be impeccably organised and have extensive experience in managing complex diaries and travel itineraries. You will be professional, hardworking, diligent, and able to manage strong personalities. Teamwork is essential for this role, as well as a high degree of autonomy and intuition.
A high degree of flexibility in terms of hours is essential for this role – usual working hours will be Monday-Friday, from 9am-6pm, however, there will be a great deal out of hours work required and 24-7 on-call. This role requires a driver with a valid UK licence, and ideally your own vehicle, although this is not essential.
Duties to include, but not be limited to:
- Extensive complex travel booking and management, including private jet and helicopter charters
- Diary management – multiple time zones and everchanging schedules
- Research and meeting preparation
- Management of extensive art collection, including purchases
- Overseeing properties and assisting with acquisitions
- Restaurant reservations and appointment management
- Personal shopping and errand running
- Organisation of large-scale events and intimate parties
- Management of Junior Private PA
- Liaising with the wider team and household staff
- Very occasional travel to other properties (UK & international)
- Additional ad hoc duties as required
Essential criteria:
- Extensive Private PA experience supporting a high profile or ultra-high net worth individual
- Polished, well-presented and articulate
- Professional, diligent and hardworking
- Able to manage strong personalities
- Excellent management skills
- Team-mentality and can-do positive attitude
- Flexibility for hours and travel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English to mother tongue level
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Valid UK driving licence
- Excellent checkable references
