Our client is an independent housing association providing valued housing management services to over 5,200 tenants and 300 leaseholders in Gloucester. We are a Times Top 100 Organisation (position 40) and the 11th best Housing Association to work for in the South West.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly efficient and innovative PA reporting to and supporting the Chief Executive. This is a contract position to cover maternity leave and will support our Chief Executive, Board of Directors and Tenant Panel as part of the Governance Team.

This role is dynamic and requires initiative as well as forward planning. As the main support to the Chief Executive, the Board and the Executive Leadership Team this role is pivotal to the success of delivering the organisations strategic aims and requires someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and motivated. You will be used to working proactively, managing your own workload and taking initiative.

You will be responsible for managing the Chief Executive's schedule and providing research to support his role. The role requires excellent communication skills with a high degree of trust, professionalism and a need to maintain confidentiality. It is essential that the successful candidate has proficient IT skills, mainly in Microsoft packages, and is confident in working with colleagues across the entire organisation, predominantly at Director and Senior Management level.

There will be a requirement to work 2-3 evenings a month to attend scheduled Board and Committee meetings where you will be responsible for taking accurate minutes. You will also be responsible for all administration prior to the Board and Committee meetings including agenda setting, assisting with report formatting and circulating all papers via our electronic board management system.

Previous experience as a Personal/Executive Assistant is desired but evidence of working in a fast-paced administrative role is essential.
