A leading membership organisation requires an experienced Customer Service Advisor to deal with inbound calls and e-mails from their members, providing first line support. This is an ongoing temporary assignment with an immediate start

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for in-bound customer enquiries via multiple channels
  • Dealing effectively and accurately with customer requests and providing advice, support, and guidance on their next steps where appropriate
  • Handling information in a confidential, discreet and secure manner, remaining compliant with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Successfully delivering business news and change initiatives to customers
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with other Divisions within the Operations Team, as well as divisions across the organisation
  • Successfully meeting required objectives and KPIs on an ongoing basis and within agreed Service Level Targets
  • Delivering a consistent high level of service

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a contact centre environment is essential
  • Microsoft packages - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good listening skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Customer centricity - strong customer focus both internal and external
  • Ability to meet deadlines
