Role Title: HR Advisor
Location: Deeside (must be willing to travel across all 5 Coleg Cambria sites)
Contract Type: 12 months Fixed Term - Full Time
Salary: GBP27,164 -GBP30,613 based on salary assessment and experience
Here at Coleg Cambria we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will primarily be based at our Deeside site, however, candidates must be willing to travel regularly to other Coleg Cambria locations.
We are looking for candidates who are equipped with the skills to work in an extremely varied, fast pace role which requires you to partner with, coach and support our managers across your dedicated business areas. You will be expected to work across a wide range of HR tasks and priorities including attendance management, case work, supporting recruitment and selection, induction and probation, contractual variations and exit interviews. You will be dedicated to providing a high level of customer service and will be committed to keeping up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice.
This position will require you to work proactively with a high degree of autonomy, and flexibility.. It is important to understand that you will also be required to provide additional support to business areas outside of your remit in the absence of fellow HR Advisors.
As a HR Advisor It will be your responsibility to contribute to and support the development and implementation of policies, processes and projects that support the college's wider vision and promote a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.
It is important that you are comfortable working with data and will be able to use data and analytics to understand and identify opportunities for further improvement.
Essential Requirements

Proven previous experience working within a fast pace, busy HR team at HR Advisor level

CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum

Able to demonstrate an up to date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and best practice

Previous experience of working within a unionised environment would be advantageous
