To provide administrative support across all HR workstreams including but not limited to file management, recruitment and selection, training and development and performance management. This role will also be the main point of contact for the online HR system. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the HR department with delivery of recruitment campaigns - including drafting and proofing of recruitment packs, arranging external advertising, interview scheduling and offer letters, dealing with recruitment queries from potential applicants
  • Supporting the delivery of inductions for new/returning staff, including scheduling for onboarding
  • Drafting ad-hoc Letters/Contracts and other documents as required using existing templates ensuring standardisation of HR process, templates and policies
  • To coordinate the data entry of the online HR system and ensure all information is inputted in a timely manner, user guidance is up to date and communicated effectively. To ensure optimum functionality of the system, understanding its capabilities, supporting system queries from employees and running reports as requested
  • Ensuring all HR related documentation including Absence and Staff Development is collated and filed accordingly
  • Support the ongoing growth of key step change areas for the organisation including equalities, diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing and staff engagement including taking minutes as instructed
  • Support with the administration of all learning and development functions - including the booking and logging of internal and external training courses
  • Supporting the HR team with general administrative duties, such as raising purchase orders, passing/coding invoices, booking meetings, data collection

ESSENTIAL

  • The successful candidate will have excellent people skills
  • Discretion and a good understanding of, and respect for, confidential issues
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail alongside good IT skills and fluency in Word and Excel
  • Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds

DESIRABLE

  • CIPD 3 qualified or working towards
  • Experience working in or with a HR department
  • Able to work under pressure accurately and efficiently
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, including a flexible approach to developing and delivering the job
  • Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
  • Enthusiasm for a range of arts and culture, an interest ensuring arts are accessible to all
