School Receptionist Needed in Central Birmingham

Hours: Full-Time

Contract Type: Permanent from September

Smile Education are looking for a skilled and experienced School Receptionist to work at a busy school based in Central Birmingham. The role will be on a full-time permanent basis starting in September. You will be an integral part of the team, working closely with parents, students, and the local community as their first point of call. You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team who strives to develop a positive and friendly culture.

You will be required to work full-time hours across Monday - Friday.

Duties:

You will be expected to perform general administrative duties on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the school. This will include dealing with telephone and email enquiries, general filing, greeting visitors, scanning and photocopying documents and running reports. You will be working across a range of school office departments, providing administrative support to the HR, Finance, and Exams department so versatility and resourcefulness is essential.

You must:

Have previous experience working within a school
Have excellent, written, communication, and organisation skills
Be able to relate to parents, teachers, and students
Be proficient using Microsoft Office
Have previous experience working within schools - Candidates without previous school experience will not be considered for this role
