We are currently looking to recruit a HR Manager, to manage the team of HR assistant that provide administrative support to the whole of SIG, as well provide a business partnering capacity providing generalist HR and ER advice and guidance to line managers on a broad range of issues and building close working relationships with the stakeholder base across the functional areas.

What does the role involve?

As HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high performing team and ensure the delivery of a professional HR administration service, working to agreed KPI's and SLA's, and act as an escalation point between the business and HRBP's. You will provide advice and guidance on HR related queries and be responsible for the HR relationship between HR Admin, Payroll and Systems teams and be a system "super user" for the HRIS.
You will support the Head of HR in the provision of HR related reports and metrics, identifying areas of focus and trends and continuously develop and review work processes to achieve optimum efficiency and quality, and document HRIS process flows and SOP's relating to HR activity and maintain relevant version control records. You will also support HRBP led projects and activities i.e. restructuring, acquisitions.

The successful candidate will require:
• Relevant HR Qualification (CIPD) or relevant work experience
• Experience in HR Generalist role including experience influencing management and critical stakeholders
• Experience of leading a team
• Experience of successfully working independently with limited day to day support
• Thorough knowledge of employment law
• Experience of TUPE transfers, mergers and acquisitions
• Excellent and effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Able to demonstrate a commercial and pragmatic approach to problems
