A well-respected West London secondary school is looking for an excellent candidate to work in an extremely fast-paced dynamic environment, who can juggle priorities in a constantly changing customer-service environment.

This role starts ASAP on an ongoing temporary basis with the strong possibility of going permanent for the right person.

A DBS certificate is essential. Hours are 7.45am - 4.15pm Monday-Friday

To act as first point of contact for all visitors to the School, and carry out a wide range of tasks in support of staff and students

· To meet and greet visitors to the School ('front of house’) and o handle quickly and accurately all incoming enquiries received

· To monitor access to the school site during school hours (including ID badges for both staff & pupils and ensuring visitors are DBS checked or escorted around school site by the appropriate member of staff)

· To register students signing-in or leaving the School site on SIMS

· To have a strong, working knowledge of Whole School systems and daily operations (including the school calendar, assemblies and the wider learning programme)

· To provide a high quality information service to staff, pupils, visitors and external callers in respect of current and future school activities

· To arrange and book meeting rooms

· To process all incoming and outgoing post (including special deliveries & couriers)

· To order and distribute stationery and office supplies

· To collect and distribute lost property & confiscated items

· To chase and update outstanding registers with any relevant information given by other members of staff

· To assist with administering First Aid to students to visit the Welfare Office and maintain a log of support given to students in each case

· To respond to any/all Emergency Alerts - either received by radio/landline/school database system and support the Welfare Team from Reception

· To ensure all procedures are followed when dealing with students

To register students signing-in or leaving the School site on SIMS

· To assist with locating students who are missing from lessons

· To chase outstanding registers

· To collect all requests for reprographics either left in person, left with written instructions, or by email

· To assist process all reprographic requests accurately and within agreed time constraints

· To prioritise work during busy times, such as producing yearly student reports and preparation of examination papers
