Do you want to work for an international business who is a leading name within their market?

We are working with an established client based in Market Drayton, who is looking to recruit an Exports Customs Administrator to join their team. Reporting into the Customs Team Leader you will be part of a growing team and gaining in-demand skills and experience. The company can offer progression opportunities and a variety of benefits. Due to 5-on-3-off shift pattern you will get more days off over the course of the year than with the traditional Monday-Friday role, it will however involve working some weekends so you must be available to do so.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

* Liaise with officials to obtain Export Certificates for export loads as required.

* Apply for batch Export Certificates to maintain continual supply.

* Prepare Export Instructions & pro forma invoices as required.

* Upload data to systems, including supporting documents.

* Ensure original copies of documents are in the correct locations.

* Liaise with Customs Brokers, Hauliers and all relevant authorities to ensure all the appropriate documentation for export, is correct and completed within a tight timeline.

* Monitor the Exports email inbox, resolve queries or escalate as appropriate.

* Support the Customs Adviser with audit testing and sampling if required.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must have strong administration and communication skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an export environment where you will have knowledge of export documentation or the taxation/customs rules and criteria, although this is not essential as full training will be provided. You will be well organised and be a self-driven individual to make sure tasks are fully completed within set timescales. Previous experience of using SAP would be advantageous.

The application process:

We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we're able to progress with your application within 72 working hours. If you do not hear from us within this time your details won't be retained. So, if you're not successful on this occasion, do continue to respond to future roles we advertise.
