Job Title: Part time Payroll Assistant
Recruiter: Alaska Black
Location: North London
Salary: GBP25,000-GBP28,000 (pro rota)
Contract: Part-time - 24 hours per week
The company
My client are a highly regarded food manufacturing PLC. The business operates across the UK from several well invested manufacturing facilities, delivering a fantastic range of premium products to all high street retailers, many food service providers and food manufacturers.
With exciting acquisition ambition, the PLC have bought a number of complimentary business's and as a result now seek to recruit an experienced Payroll professional to join the growing team.
The role
* Reporting directly into the Commercial Director.
* 3 days per week - Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.
* Ensuring weekly payroll is completed in a timely manner.
* Manage Salary Finance and Purchasing of holidays.
* Ensure holiday information is accurate.
* Provide HR with Payroll KPI information.
* Process all new starters and leavers.
* Supporting the HR team when required.
* Provide assistance with the transition of payroll software.
The person
* At least 3 years in a similar Payroll position
* Food manufacturing background desirable
* Experience working in a small and fast-paced team
* Strong administration skills
* Clear communicator across all levels of the business
* Computer literate
* Frontier software experience, highly desirable
The ideal candidate will be upbeat, energetic and will have a meticulous attention to detail. You will be ready to hit the ground running in order to move the payroll system forward and really make it your own. You will be flexible and adaptable and able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
