Finance Administrator - Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is looking for Finance Administrator with excellent IT and Excel skills for this brand-new role to support their busy and thriving New Anglia Growth Hub team based in Ipswich, Suffolk on a part-time basis.

As the Finance Administrator, you will oversee and assist with the finance & accounting procedures and provide general administrative support for the New Anglia Growth Hub team.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver monthly finance reports
* Check and process supplier invoices and reconcile expenses and mileage claims
* Provide general administrative support including filing
This role will suit a methodical and details-focused administrator with a good head for numbers, a strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude. To meet the requirements for this role you will need to have previous experience in office and finance administration, preferably with experience of using databases and understanding internal control procedures. You will need an eye for detail and a minimum of intermediate experience of Excel processes.
In return, you will have the opportunity to take on an important position within the county's leading business forum and within a friendly, flexible, supportive, and proactive office environment. Other benefits will include, expenses, company pension, and healthcare package.
This is a part time, fixed term position, 16-20 hrs per week. On offer is a salary of GBP18,000- GBP21,000 pro rata (depending on experience). This post is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, initially for a fixed term ending on the 30 November 2021 and only continuing subject to an extension of funding.
